Russo’s New York Pizzeria is franchising an Italian microbrewery concept called Russo’s New York Italia Pizza Kitchen and Brewery, with plans to open the first location this year.
A news release said the brand features Chef Anthony Russo’s menu of pizza and pasta, along with in-house brewed craft beers in a 3,500-5,000-square-foot space with an open kitchen and brewery so diners can see both food and drink being made.
Russo said his New York Pizzerias reached 50 locations last year, including three openings in Texas and one in the United Arab Emirates. For the Brewery brand, a news release said Russo plans to open more than 20 locations, primarily in the South and Southwest states of Arizona, Florida, Tennessee and Texas, as well as overseas.
